“But I Don’t Believe in Magic!”

I heard this last week at an event. Someone’s colleagues told them to come and watch me, and their response?

“Nah, I don’t believe in magic.”

As if that meant they wouldn’t enjoy it!

Here’s the thing - I know, that you know, the magic isn’t real!
We all know I’m not actually bending reality.

But that’s exactly what makes magic so much fun. You know it’s impossible… yet it’s happening right in front of you. Your brain fights it. Your eyes don’t believe it. And for just a moment, you feel like a kid again.

That’s the real magic. And trust me—you don’t have to “believe” to enjoy it.
