“But I Don’t Believe in Magic!”
I heard this last week at an event. Someone’s colleagues told them to come and watch me, and their response? “Nah, I don’t believe in magic.” As if that meant they wouldn’t enjoy it! Here’s the thing - I know, that you know, the magic isn’t real! We all know I’m not actually bending reality. But that’s exactly what makes magic so much fun. You know it’s impossible… yet it’s happening right in front of you. Your brain fights it. Your eyes don’t believe it. And for just a moment, you feel like a kid again. That’s the real magic. And trust me—you don’t have to “believe” to enjoy it. (Although by the end of the night, even the skeptics start to wonder…) : by the fantastic Sarah Beth Photo at the wonderful The Beverley Barn

“It’s not until August, I’ve got ages yet!”
I’ve heard this at a few wedding fayres recently. Planning a wedding is very different to planning any other event. Most people plan their wedding and book suppliers years in advance. Therefore, the most popular wedding suppliers get booked up years in advance. I frequently get booked over 18 months in advance of the date! So a few months usually isn’t enough time to secure the best wedding suppliers. If you enquire with a supplier you really like and they are available then get them booked Fantastic photo captured by the great Bushman Photo & Film Shout out to Natalie for the amazing review she took the time to leave me!
I love what I do for exactly this reason, I want to show guests something unbelievable that they’ve never experienced before, not so they remember me, but so they remember your wedding Thank you to all of the 484 people who have left 5-Star reviews on Facebook & Google January Round-Up
8 Events 4 Wedding Fayres 84 enquiries 31 enquiries unavailable for 16 Future Bookings secured Overall an exciting start to 2025! This fantastic photo was captured by Lucy Dennis Photography at Rise Hall “I’ve only ever seen this stuff on TV!”
I’ve lost count how many times people have said this to be me over the years. But I am passionate about delivering a unique experience that you and your guests have never witnessed before. This magical moment was captured by the fantastic Lucy Dennis Photography on Jason & Natasha’s beautiful wedding day at Rise Hall Wedding Open Day Alert

So many wedding suppliers are snowed under with enquires at the moment so if you meet someone you like don’t delay too long : I love this photo of Jason & Natasha captured by the amazing Lucy Dennis Photography at Rise Hall One of the main reasons I love performing magic is how it makes others feel. I’m so pleased magic exists and I’ve had the fortune to be sucked into its ecosystem and now I have the privilege of sharing these magical effects for a living
I will never forget sharing these moments with Charlotte & Matthew last year in their special day Thanks to All You Need is Love Photography for capturing the magic Congratulations to Rebecca & Josh who got married at the beautifully festive Dunedin House just before Christmas!
I was so pleased to have this wedding as my last before Christmas for lots of reasons: 1. These guys are a lovely couple and I knew it would be a pleasure being a part of their big day 2. I was a surprise for Josh 3. Their guests were awesome and so much fun to entertain 4. Dunedin house is always beautiful but even more so at Christmas 5. It was Sheila’s last wedding! Sheila is a legend who has been a pivotal member of the Dunedin Team for years and she has always made me feel so welcome when visiting Dunedin So I wish her a long and happy retirement! Great to work alongside so many other extremely talented suppliers too: Katy Harston Aaron Cheeseman Weddings Mitchell Blades : Photographer Wishing Rebecca & Josh all the very best for the future! |
