I kicked off the weekend with my fellow Magician Dan Voakes Magic at the Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce Business Awards at Magna. With almost 500 guests we had our work cut out for us! It was a pleasure to mix and mingle with all the guests and be a part of such a prestigious event.
Natalie and Alex’s was my first Wedding of the weekend at the beautiful Whitley Hall Hotel. I don't think anyone could believe how fantastic the weather was and all their family and friends enjoyed the drinks reception in the lovely gardens as I worked my magic. The Magic continued in to the meal and we finished with my special brides and grooms magic trick for the beautiful newly weds.

On Saturday evening I headed over the Humber bridge to The Tale of Two in Cleethorpes to celebrate Sarah’s 50th Birthday. Many thanks to Sarah's lovely husband Andrew for asking me to entertain their family.
The Wedding Fayre Season continued with another brilliant Wedding Fayres Yorkshire event at Garforth. I must be mad but I love everything about Wedding Fayres! I get to brighten up the day of the future brides and grooms with some interactive close up magic as well as catching up with my fellow exhibitors such as Robert Peel Photography, Down to Earth Florist, Lee Call Photography & Film, Philip Broadbent Photography, Leighton from Top Mark Suit Hire & Melanie from That Skincare Solution.
After packing up my stand I headed up the M1 to the gorgeous Bridge Inn Hotel & Spa for Emma & Richard’s evening wedding reception. Coincidentally, I had actually met Emma just a few months ago at the previous wedding Fayre at Garforth. There were a few changes of date but I was so happy that I was available for Emma & Richard’s Special Day.


The reason I love performing close-up magic so much is that I get to have conversations and get to know the people I am entertaining, and this weekend I met some genuinely lovely people!
