There was no better way to start September than with a gorgeous wedding at the Oaklands. This place is out in the sticks near Brandesburton, and is the most idyllic setting for a wedding on a lovely summers day. I met Will and Chloe at the Oaklands Wedding Fayre earlier in the year and I was so happy that they asked me to entertain all of their family and friends on their special day. Everyone enjoyed relaxing in the sun listening to the amazing Jonny Kramer play his guitar as I performed a selection of my favourite close-up magical illusions. I wish Will and Chloe all the best for their future together.
I had chance to rush home for a shower and a change of clothes before hitting the road again and heading down the M62 to perform at Tony and Claire’s evening wedding reception. As soon as I arrived I had the pleasure of performing for the lovely newly weds and was so glad that I was able to give them a few magical souvenirs. It always amazes me how quickly time passes when I'm performing, before I knew it it was time to say goodbye to the Tony and Claire and head back home. I wish them a super honeymoon in Sorrento! I enjoyed a lovely Sunday performing once again at the wonderful Westwood Restaurant. It's great that the more I perform at The Westwood the more I get to know some of the regulars and have to think of different tricks I haven't shown them before. Thankfully, on Sunday evening I could relax with a lovely cold beer!
