Wow! What a busy December, but it's not over yet. This month has been the busiest I can remember. Firstly, I have had the privilege of performing at the KC Stadium with some great magicians such as Dan Voakes, Greg Chipman, Russ Appleby, Jay Britten & Leo Claughton. I had the honour of performing at Breadsall Priory for some of my favourite people in the world and their guests. I am performing at some Christmas parties at the beautiful Cave Castle Hotel. I've had some last minute bookings for weddings in December and I will be finishing the year off by performing at the Star Inn in South Dalton. So if you haven't got any plans for New Year's Eve yet, get yourself there! One of my favourite things to do is sit at my desk and experiment with some sleights and techniques, doesn't everyone? When busy it is tempting to overlook such activities that are not compulsory. However, I'm glad I set this time aside and some of the videos I've produced this month are below.
Despite having the reading age of a 5 year old, I've recently realised that books are a rich source of knowledge. I've read some great books this month but my favourite has to be 'Magic and Showmanship' by Henning Nelms.
Today my Facebook page surpassed 350 'likes' and I couldn't be happier, well maybe if I had 350,000 likes. I started the page when I returned from Asia in December last year, so nearly 1 'like' a day isn't bad I suppose? I never planned to become a magician, it feels like it's just happened. But I am enjoying the ride, especially because during the last year Magic has allowed me to meet and spend time with some great people. I hope everyone has a Magical Christmas and I wish you all the best for the New Year!
